The first time you connect a device that plugs into a universal serial bus (USB) port, Windows automatically installs a driver for that device. After a driver is installed, you can disconnect and reconnect the device without performing any additional steps.
Before you install your device Check the instructions included with the device to determine whether a driver should be installed before you connect the device. Typically, Windows detects a new device after you connect it, and then installs the driver automatically. However, some devices require you to install the driver before plugging the device in.
Also, while most devices that have power switches should be turned on before you connect them, others require that you turn them on during the installation process. Because of issues like this, it's a good idea to read the instructions included with a new device before you connect it.
If the instructions that came with your device contradict the information in this topic, follow the instructions that came with the device.
Plugging your device in If your USB device1.gif uses a power cord, you should connect the device to a power source and turn it on before connecting it.
Next, determine which USB port you want to connect your device to. If your computer has USB ports1.gif on the front, consider using one of those if you plan to frequently connect and disconnect the device.

YOU MUST NOW " SYNC" YOUR DEVICE WITH MEDIA PLAYER THIS IS HOW TO DO IT.

Set up a device to sync in Windows Media Player You can use Windows Media Player to copy music, videos, and pictures from your Player library to a portable device, such as a compatible MP3 player. This process is called synchronization or syncing.
There are two methods for syncing items to a device: automatically or manually. When you connect a device to your computer for the first time, Windows Media Player selects the sync method that works best for your device, depending on the device's storage capacity1.gif and the size of your Player library. After your device is set up the first time, you can choose a different sync method if you want.

  1. Start the Player, turn on your device, and then connect it to your computer. If prompted, select the AutoPlay option to sync the device using Windows Media Player.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • If the Player has selected to sync your device automatically, click Finish. When you do so, the Player will sync your entire library to your device. After that, your device will automatically sync every time you connect it to your computer while Windows Media Player is running.
    • If the Player has selected to sync your device manually, click Finish. Then, in the Sync tab, you can select the files and playlists you want to sync manually. For more information, see Sync manually in Windows Media Player.

How to solve error message C00D11B1

Computer program errors are discussable. First, the programs require compatibility to the entire computer system to take effects either as downloads or installation from internet of disk drives. Computer software programs have compatibility versions to each system innovated. For example, windows media player version 9 or earlier is installable on older computers where version 10 above compatible to recent innovated computers. In situations that computer least captures the window media player effect requires acquiring another media player. For example, real one media player has the compatibilities to generic device either Microsoft of apple Mac computers. Also, available are generic media programs that least requires compatibilities to install however least has satisfactory expectations discussable. Error observations are solvable either as attaining an alternate program software least incompatible or capturing a computer that is compatible to the program requesting installation.

My pc acer laptop extanse 4630z have a problem during working it restart emiditaly and shoe bule screen eror plz tell me what is bule screen error and why it restart is their any hardware r soft eare...

The blue screen is usually caused by a driver issue that has stopped working. The best way to deal with this is to if you have added anything new on your computer a device make sure that the device is compatible as well as all the drivers installed and updated often you can go to Windows Updates and see if there are updates for your devices under the "Optional Updates" Once this has been completed all the updates installed. This should solve the issues with the blue screen. SP3 has caused a lot of problems on PC's. Depending on your operating system Win XP or Vista or Win 7 which in my opinion is a far better operating system than Vista because the new 7 is more programed to seek drivers out and find them. So it is most likely a driver issue of course without seeing your computer I can only guess here.
Also what may be the issue as well is the startup programs you have running may need to be cleaned out as well. I bet that your startup icons down in the right hand corner of the desktop are loaded down. You can find the startup programs really easy go to run and type in MSCONFIG go to startup items turn off "disable all but anti-virus software! :Disable do not delete. Click and restart and watch the computer startup faster. I clean mine all the time. I use a software program "Free" called ccleaner which you can download free no cost at ccleaner.com
Also get rid of the video players installed except Windows Media Player keep that one unless you have a remote for a TV tuner and software that goes with it keep those as well. I use VLC player it has every media codec installed pretty much so that you will not receive errors when trying to load a DVD or a program video for school or homework etc. Also another thing to do is use spybot search and destroy software This software goes and checks your computer for ad-are and spy-ware issues and allows you to get rid of those annoying issues. Please click on underlined links above.
Now last but not least you may want to check to see if you have any devices with an icon or symbol that is yellow in color in the devices section. For XP go to my computer on the desktop select properties. Then go to devices from there. In Win 7 select my computer icon right click on this then go to properties then go to devices top right hand corner of window. Select this and check to see if all the devices are running without any errors showing yellow triangle beside any of them. If so do a update drivers. Make sure that you select go online always for any updates.
Once you clean your machine and download the free software you should be running faster and cleaner maintain your computer with these simple free tools and run maintenance free I do. Thanks for using FixYa! Please post a comment for me if I assisted you. John

When I plug in my mp3, i cant sync because wmp doesnt recognize the mp3 at all. I was trying to find software or driver download to help fix. please help!

Hi, Looking for Drivers.

In order to download the right driver for a Coby MP3 player, you'll need to go to the Coby website support page where you can download software drivers (See Resources). To find the driver you need, you first need to identify which device you're using. Select "MP3 & Portable" under where it says "Select a Product" on the first box on the left. In the second box, it will be "MP3 & MP4 players." The final box lists all of the MP3 and MP4 players that Coby produces. You'll need to find your MP3 player in this list. The designation will be letters and number such as "Mp200". It should be listed on the box. Once your MP3 player is selected, clicking on the "Submit" button at the bottom will cause the text "Available Downloads for Mp200" (or whatever your MP3 player is called) to appear towards the bottom of the screen. Underneath, there should be a link for "Driver," if there is one available for your player. Clicking on that will allow you to download it.

Installation

If you click "OK" on the download screen, your driver should install. It will likely be in a ".zip" format, which means another program is needed to "unzip" the file so that you can install it. An example of such a program is WinRAR (See Resources). This program needs to be installed first, before it can be used to unzip your driver file. After you've downloaded the program, opening the installation file will begin the installation process. Choose a directory for where the program will be installed. After installation is complete, you can go back to the ".zip" driver file. Double-clicking on the file will bring up a new window. You can now drag your driver files from inside the .zip folder to any folder on your computer that you wish. There will be a file marked "Setup" among the unzipped folders. Opening this file should allow you to install the drivers you need on your computer.

Also Coby mp3 player not recognized by the computer.

Why is my Coby player not being detected by my computer when I connect it?

This may be caused by one of the following:
1. Minimum system requirements were not met.
2. Corrupted drivers.
3. Computer restrictions.
4. Power issue.

To resolve this issue, try the following solutions:

SOLUTION 1 - For brand new player or first time connecting to this computer.

For Windows XP users: verify the following operating system requirements are met.
- Windows XP SP2 or higher
- Windows Media Player 10 or higher

Download and install the latest Windows Media Player if it's not installed.

For Windows Vista users: If the player is seen in My Computer when using MTP mode, but not showing in Windows Media Player.
- Download the hotfix from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939211.
- Run the hotfix.

For MAC users, see player not recognized by a MAC OS

NOTE: If you are trying to connect to a Computer at work that is part of a network, there may be user right restrictions that are set to disable access to new hardware or stop any program installations. You may need to check with your IT administrator to see if this is causing the problem.

SOLUTION 2 - Refresh the driver

STEP 1 - Connect the Coby mp3 player to the PC
The screen on your player should turn on, show 'Connected' and indicate the battery charging or full.
- If the player does not turn on try other USB ports or on another computer if one is readily available. Ensure you are connecting directly to the computer USB port and not to a USB hub.
- If there is nothing showing on the screen and the player does show up in as a storage device in an explorer window, then the screen is just not working.

If you receive the error "USB Device Not Recognized" on the computer, the player is most likely failed. Additional troubleshooting is unlikely to correct the problem.

Image
.

STEP 2 - Check under Device Manager
1. Right-click My Computer, and select Manage.
Image
2. Click Device Manager on the left pane.
Image

NOTE: Coby mp3 player can connect to your computer in MSC or MTP mode. Exceptions are Coby mp3 player Connect and Coby mp3 player Express which only use MTP mode. MTP mode is the recommended and default method for Coby Players when used with Windows OS.

The Coby player will show up on Device Manager's right pane as:
1. USB Mass Storage device (if the player is set to MSC)
2. Portable Device (if the player is set to MTP mode)

If there is a yellow exclamation point (!) or question mark (?) beside the device, try to refresh the drivers.

STEP 3 - Refresh the drivers
1. Right-click the entry with the error mark, select Uninstall.
2. On the top menu, click Action then select Scan for hardware changes.

NOTE: If a device with yellow exclamation point (!) continually appears and disappears, then the player is most likely failed. Additional troubleshooting is unlikely to correct the problem.

Hope that helped..

you need to reinstall the drivers there are many ways to do this here are the easy 2
1.) you main board came with a driver cd, insert the cd, install the drivers then restart
2.) if you cant find the cd, download a program like driver magician www.drivermagician.com and install that program, it can detect and install your drivers for you automatically.

are that restart

verify that you have the correct device selected
1.) click start, all programs, windows media player
2.) click tools , options, devices
3.) click refresh and select the propper device ( speakers e.g)
4.) you can try different ones until you get one that works

If all the above fails you many need to reformat your computer, backup everything before attempting to do this,

1.) boot from a windows XP CD or insert in in the compuer
2.) follow the onscreen instructions to install it
3.) reinstall all drivers using any of the above described methods

Uninstall the device and software completely first, and then reinstall it. If that still fails, get the firmware upgrade from Philips website - will reload. Note: this player is not compat with Vista or Macintosh.
