What i'll do is write generealized steps here If these don't work then just tell me the exact make of your phone and i'll direct you properly.
SOLUTION 1: Go to menu-->contacts. Scroll down till you find an option that says speed dial. If it doesn't exist then go to options (usually the left or right select key; top-left or top-right key) and search for speed dial.
Solution 1 should mostly work for you.
SOLUTION 2: On your home screen just dial any number (except 1 and 0). Now press the top-left key. An option that says assign should appear. You'll want to try both the keys (left and right) individually.
Either of these methods should work. If not give me the brand and model name and i'll direct you.
Further if solution 1 works you'll come to a screen which has digits from 1 - 9. Go to any digit and select it. You can assign one number to any contact from your phonebook. Assign how many ever you want and then use options--> save and you're done.
Just go to the main screen now and press any number and call. It'll call that perso instantly,

Almost there gizmo1. In fact one has to go through Connect, Bluetooth then you'll see two tabs. The selected tab has the basic bluetooth options (On/Off, Visibility, name etc) and the second tab shows the list of paired devices. Access this by pressing right.
Once in the list of paired devices Press OPTIONS (normally the left softkey) then "New paired devices". You'll then see what's around and you'll be able to initiate the pairing.
If you're simply looking to send an object, you can do this from the file manager or media library. In the media library select your picture or other object then once again through the left softkey (Options) you should see a "Send" option. Select that, the Nokia will then propose how you wish to send. Choose bluetooth. In the file manager it works in the same way.
