Question about SanDisk Sansa c250 (2 GB) MP3 Player (SDMX7-2048)

2 Answers

Memory full Primarily used for fm radio recording of specialized programs but it indicates memory is full. Need to unload or delete or transfer. It is not totally user friendly to old folks. How do I delete what I do not want and how do I transfer to my desktop that which I want to save? It would help if I used it more frequently to recall proper methods. Need to find instruction manual. Thanks for response. Larry

Can not delete FM recordings.. do not see them when I look at the FM Recordings folder on the player under My Computer.. the folder is blank (even when i click Tools, Folder, View "hidden files")... When I listen to the FM recordings on the player, there is no delete option

This is correct, also windows media player should recognize and import the music from device when you open it, or give you the option depending on your inital configuration of windows media player , i assume you are using either xp or vista and have windows media player 11

From what I was able to read online, it looks like the device will appear in My Computer when you connect it to your PC. After you have connected it, you can open the folder and delete the files just as you would with any other files on your computer.

If you need any more help with this, let me know!

Rca rt 2770 programming. My fm radio stations

You can manually program a station by pressing AM/FM to get to the correct radio band. Then tune in a station with the Tuner +/- (the left/right arrow) buttons on the remote. Next press Memory (just below 7) and then a number on the keypad. The number must be entered before the Program Preset number stops blinking. (For FM you can use some 2 digit numbers.) To scan through the stations in memory use the Channel +/- buttons on the remote or the Next/Previous track buttons on the RT2770. You could fill all of the memory slots automatically by pressing and holding the AM/FM button for two seconds. The unit will store the stations that it tunes in in order until the memory slots are full. Note: you do need to have the FM antenna and AM loop antenna connected (and extended for the FM antenna).

Retrevo has the manual for the RCA RT2770 available here: http://www.retrevo.com/support/RCA-RT2770-Home-Theater-Systems-manual/id/2869dj191/t/2/ . You will need to enter a code to download the PDF.

I hope this helps.

How do I record FM radio programs and transfer them to my computer?

unfortunately, the voice recorder works only as voice recorder, it cannot play FM and record it at the same time. though you can play fm radio from another device and record it using your SanDisk mp3 player.

To transfer your recordings from your mp3 player, connect your device to your PC.

Open "My computer" from your PC and you'll there "your Sansa Player"

Double-click on "your Sansa Player", then open the "Music" folder, then, open "Recordings" folder.

You'll find all your recordings on that folder.

It will not let me add videos any more and my memory is not full i still have space

The GoGear allows you to make voice or FM radio recordings and saves the recordings to the internal memory. The internal memory is limited and the GoGear may show the message "Memory Full" when trying to save recordings. When you receive this message, plug the device into the computer and delete any extraneous files or files you no longer want to keep on your device. This will free up memory so you can save more recordings or place additional music files on the GoGear.
.............................................

I recommend you to reset your device If the solution above didn't solve the problem :.

Take a small object like a paper clip and use the edge to stick into the small reset button on the side next to the usb connection .

Or Try [ power + volume up button & hold for 3 seconds ]

..........................................................................................

Your mp3 player has two types of memory in it. The hard drive (where the music and photos are stored) and the Ram (where the firmware and active files are temporarily hosted).

When you soft reset your GoGear, it flushes the RAM, and restarts the operating system (which is why the contents of the hard drive does not get erased).

You can "hard reset" the device, by formatting the drive and resetting it to factory defaults in the Settings field. This is the closest thing to a "hard reset: that's available with an HD based MP3 player.

Iriver e10 how to record radio

http://www.osnews.com/story/17860/Review:_The_OGG-Compatible_iRiver_E10

After you long press the right arrow button the special menu appears: Record, Saved FM Recording, FM Recording Quality, Save Preset, Stereo/Mono, Auto preset, Tuner region. The FM Radio works very well, it has amazing reception compared to cellphones with FM support, but it won't continue playback while you are reading a text file. You must stay in the FM app to have it activated.

Unable to record from the radio

Make sure that you have enough available space to hold a recording. If your player is full, you may get that message.

I need 2 know how 2 uninstall info from my mp-4001 moV.ox centon

Do this procedure for "voice" mode to delete voice recordings:

Delete file (stop submenu) - Delete corresponding files and save files in Music mode, Voice mode or FM mode.
1. In stop interface (FM without stop interface)
2. Short press "MODE" to enter stop submenu
3. Click "NEXT" or "PREV" to choose "single" or "all" files
4. Short press "MODE" to enter the Delete interface
5. Click "NEXT" to change "no" into "yes"
6. Short press MODE to confirm the delete prompt
"Delete all" will delete all related files stored in the selected folder. For example, if in music mode "Delete all" will delete all the music files, while other recorded files (e.g. voice recordings or FM recordings) will not be deleted.
Likewise, if "Delete all" is used when in the "Replay" menu, this will delete all recorded files but leave music files intact.
FM is much simpler – "Delete" or "Delete all" will delete the station(s) saved before.

Sansa 280 with 8 gigs

The message says it needs 6MB of space for the MUSIC DB ( the database, the artist names, etc).

You need to delete some of the recordings off of your device to free up some space.

You can manually delete the files while connected to your computer from My Computer>Device Name (e280)>MUSIC Folder.

Best of Luck.
