Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer

Rinse cycle nonexistant!!! HELP!!!

Hello. I have Maytag Model # MAH5500B Front Loading Washer & just as the other guy here, I am having a problem with the spin cycle. At the end of the cycle, it goes fine until 9 min remaining & then turns off, unlocks the door & "acts" like the whole wash cycle has finished. When you open the door up, it's still full of water & obviously hasn't spun the laundry.

Should I remove the circuit board & check for burn marks like you told the other guy? Also, what are the chances that it could need a new WAX motor as well? Is it every time the circuit board r-11 burns out you have to replace the WAX motor too or just certain instances?

Also, I would like to know if you may have an available circuit board I may purchase from you if need be? How much would that cost?

Thank you for you valuable time & great knowledge. I greatly appreciate it.

Well, I removed the pump, cleaned it & the hose out & placed it back in the machine. I checked the circuit board for any "burnt" marks & don't see any. I ran the machine in service mode & the only thing I get back was a "23", which is a problem with the door lock. Could the door locking mechanism be causing all this problem with the machine not draining & spinning?

I really need to figure this out, my laundry is piling up by the minute.

Thanks again for all your help.

Yes the wax motor does need tobe changed at the same time.If you see the burnt spot, your control board has got to be replaced (Maytag insists that the door latch wax motor is partly to blame ,so they've modified it and in the last 6 years there have only been a few Neptunes that this problem re occurred after changing these 2 parts

On the price a new board and wax motor could be about $219.95 plus tax.

HEY YOU MENTIONED WATER IS STILL IN THE MACHINE!!!!!
DONT REPLACE THE CONTROL BOARD OR THE WAX MOTOR!!
YOU HAVE A PUMP THATS CLOGGED UP.JUST REMOVE THE 2 HOSES THAT ATTACH TOIT AND CLEAN OUT THE PUMP.

Why won't my Maytag Washer extract water properly from clothing after going through the complete cycle?

Belt tension spring faulty, belt loose. Pump partly blocked, look for coin caught in hoses. Internal clutch failed in gearbox, replace gearbox. Gearbox pulley wrongly adjusted, remove pulley, re-grease, re-install with correct clearance.

Front loading Maytag Neptune doesnt drain all water

the washer has a low level of water in it at all times. it will never completely drain out unless you pump it. this is one of the reasons there is such a smell with these washers, i use vinegar in rinse cycle and i use bleach once sometimes twice a month to keep mold and mildew smell away.

Maytag neptune won;t rinse

Check latch mechanism for alignment. Often operation of machine loosens latch mechanism causing internal switch for "door open (or ajar)" preventing rinse or spin cycle. Opening and closing door presses latch mechanism closing internal switch allowing for continue processing to rinse or spin cycles.
