Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I have a 80gb ps3 that doesn't show any video or has no audio what so ever. i tried the hdmi and av plugs. yes, they were on the right channels and yes, i tried different televisions and wires. i also already tried holding down the power touch for 5 seconds and tested the power supply with another ps3. pretty sure i cant send it in because its manufacture date is april 2007 and the warranty sticker has been removed. so can someone with lots of motherboard experience please help me.... ONLY SERIOUS ANSWERS, PLEASE!!!!!!
Found the cure guys its jux and update problem 80% sure i had same problem and bought new hard drive and wala worked up again hope it works for you guys good luck!

THis could be a motherboard problem.. id agree with 686 but normally only if the display is off its your tv if its both then its the motherbaord!

You should try another TV, because it might be the TV, not the ps3
