During the installation process, you should have been prompted to save certain files and settings. Regardless, you should still be able to set up a network. Go to the start menu (or control panel) and type Network or Network Settings.
You should be given the options for Network and sharing. Here you will be able to set up your network. Remember, Windows 7 is only capable with networking with other Windows 7, or Vista OS systems. Anything older then Vista will not be suffice.

hey No worries for display adapter as it will pick up the drivers automatically if you want to use those specific display adapters driver`s then probaply you need to visit to thevendors website and find out the latest drivers for that it will be difficult to mention other three controllers as u `vent mentioned which three controllers are they
go to the control panel > device manager > scroll down to dvd drives and click on it. When you see the drive appear, highlight it and right click on it. Choose uninstall and ok. Make sure the box is UNCHECKED that says delete drivers. You want to keep the drivers so just uninstall the dvd drive. Once that is done, turn the laptop off. Take out the battery and press the power button for about 10 seconds. Replace the batttery and power the system back up. When windows loads, it will find the hardware and start installing the drivers for it. If it wants to search windows update for an updated driver, say yes and let it. Once it is completed its task, try to play something in it like a music cd.
When you purchased the laptop they must have given you few CD's you need to insert the first CD and restart your laptop and follow the instructions prompted by restoration software. If you have lost those CD's then it is advisable instead of putting a wrong driver inside of laptop and permanently damaging a hardware you better take it to an expert. If you have the restoration CDs then you can do it yourself. It's simple.
1. sound driver
2. microphone settings in volume control applet
3. tap test (tap the area around the microphone and see if eg Sound Recorder picks it up)
4. external microphone
If you get to step 4 before you get anything then your problem is one of missing or damaged microphone.
