First unplug dryer and test your heating element for continuity with a multimeter if it has more than about 30ohms it is bad.Next check for 220v-240v at the heating element with the dryer running (This is not a test for an amateur. If you are not familiar with electricity I would recommend calling a service tech. If you have 220v-240v there and no heat the heating element is most likely bad. If not then trace the wires back to find the open circuit could be a thermostat or the thermal fuse or just a loose wire/bad connection.
Mine has the same problem but i also noticed that the lights in the panel are flickering. Unfortunatley, I had to move and had to lay the dryer on its side for a short trip home. I am not wondering if I jarred somethign loose. It is wired using a 3 prong cord. Everything else, timer, drum, settings all seem to be working properly.
