I have a problem with a marantz SR 5200 av hifi system. Whenever the TV input selected it will always turn itself off after 4 minuites.n.b. I just have audio selected for tv input only and use the TV (LG flatron) as tv tuner/picture. what is wrong with the system. Only happens when tv input is selected.Nothing else. Also have tape, cd, dvd, satelite reciever connected.as will and never happens with those items.

Go in to the recievers main menu and turn TV AUTO, to DISABLE . It should
be in `system set up`.

It relates to the menu options for the amp & the type of input for the tv -
essentially, the unit doesn't realise there is a signal so goes back to
sleep.
There is nothing wrong, physically, with the unit.
