Question about LG DH404E Dehumidifier
Several hours after I emptied the water bucket and started the dehumidified again I found water coming out from somewhere around the bucket. The dehumidifier continued to operate. It is not the exact model listed above. My dehumidifier has a rear water bucket that the water drips into. It was working ok until I moved it to a different location in my basement. How do I correct this problem.
Try re-seating the bucket. I have found some LG models that if not seated all of the way will sometimes keep running and think the bucket is not full even when it is. On the models that I have seen do it the problem is usually the left side of the bucket not engaging all of the way. When you reseat the bucket, feel where the bucket meets the dehumidifier on each side and make sure they are even. If one feels like it is sticking out further than the other and you cannot push it in any more pull the bucket out and try and reseat it again until both sides are flush with the dehumidifier. If you found this solution helpful please rate it.

Tips for a great answer:

Hey friend, thanks for your post!
It sounds like your dehumidifier needs to be professionally cleaned. What could be causing the problem is a buildup on the inside of your dehumidifier where the water drains out and it is causing the water to not drain properly. Additionally, I would check to verify that the drain hole is tightly secured with the plug. I know you stated that the bucket is not leaking but have you removed it to verify? Please comment back if further assist is needed. -Matt
