I cant install applications contain .jar format in my nokia e71

  • Download the jar file onto your desktop.

Right-click on the file and choose "Rename." Change the file extension from .jar to .zip. Click "OK."

  • Right-click on the file and choose "Unzip." Your computer will use its pre-installed decompression or zip application to open the file. If your system does not have a decompression application, you can download a free copy of WinZip using the link in the resource section.

Click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive. Click "Open" after the file has finished downloading.

Double-click on the file marked "Install" or "Set-up" to install the program files on your computer. If the file does not have one of these options, open the program that the files are intended for and it will automatically detect and install the files.
  • Double-click on the file. The Java Runtime program will automatically detect and open the file. If your system does not have Java Runtime, you can download it free from Java using the link in the resource section.

  • Click "Install" when prompted. Java Runtime will install the program on your computer for you.

Click "Open" to open the program after the installation process has been completed.

  • Download the jar file onto your desktop.

do in this way you will get it.

When attempting to install either ''SAS Secure Tomorrow'' or ''Code of Honor2'' I get Runtime Error (at 83:355). I'm fairly computer literate, but I can't solve this one. I'm running XP, SP3, 2.4G cpu, 4GB...

Runtime error is possibly the Java runtime enviroment installed is not up to date for the programs you are installing, I had a similar problem with X3 reunion, goto and download the latest.
It's not a definate answer, just a possible one.
