Acer aspire 5741 overheating then it shuts off

heck to see if the fan is working, if not replace it.If the fan is working and spinning freely, then clean the vents and remove any dust/lint.You may need to remove the fan/heatsink off the CPU and clean off the old heatsink compound and replace it with fresh heatsink compound and reinstall the fan/heatsink.
When using the laptop, make sure it is on a firm flat surface and none of the vents are obstructed.

Fan working with big sound, Model-ASPIRE M3802

Hello, I am the technician that will be assisting you today. My name is Norman-Wynne Damstra.
Welcome to Fixya, Sajaltunes.

This indicates that your computer's processor (CPU) is getting too hot, the fan spins faster to cool it down.

What you need to do is to remove the side panel from the computer chassis and then use a vaccum cleaner and paint brush to gently remove the dust on the fan and heatsink.

Cleaning the heatsinks and the internals of your computer system will increase airflow through the system, meaning that the fans will spin at a lower RPM. In other words your fans will not have to try and push air through dust.

Take care!

Acer Aspire 1640z overheating

Clear the dust from the heatsink and fan assembly. Most laptops have vents on the bottom and outlet vents on the side or back of the laptop. The fan covers on the base are held in place by screws. The fan is usually over the CPU and is held in place with 3 or 4 spring loaded screws, remove these will allow you to remove the fan and heatsink assmbly.
If there isn't vents on the bottom of the laptop, only on the sides and back edges, then the heatsink and fan assembly is usually located under the keyboard and you need to remove the keyboard to clean/remove the dust off the heatsink/fan.
After cleaning and before re-assembly apply a thin film of heatsink compound on top of the CPU.

Hi i have a acer aspire 5044 and it keeps shutting it self down after 10 - 15 mins of use

This sounds like an overheating issue. You need to open the case and check for dust and clean it out. If dust is not the issue then the heatsink compound will need to be changed, this will involve removing the proccessor heatsink and fan, removing the old compound and applying new.
If you are familiar with the BIOS you can check your processor heat readings just prior to the shut down if you can.
