My screen is sideways on my pc

Hi, Press ctrl + alt + plus the up arrow will usually turn it back. otherwise keep the ctrl = alt down and try the different arrows or the F1. One of those should do it. Cheers Barry.

My lenovo think pad x60's screen has turned sideways. I think I pushed several buttons at the same time by accident. Help!

Typically the hotkeys to rotate the screen are Ctrl+Alt+Direction Key. Ctrl+Alt+Up Arrow should restore your screen to the correct orientation.

DISPLAYS ARE SIDEWAYS STRETCHED

This problem is because, when you formatted your PC, you have installed improper display driver of your PC model. This is also because of less capacity display/graphics card.

Screen is sideways

this is ok, either someone's yanking your chain, or you accidently activated an ability of your graphics chip, this mode is for "tablet" PCs which have a portrait mode. you most likely have an icon in the bottom left of your screen by the clock for graphics settings, one of these will be to rotate the screen.

it is also possible that this ability may be programmed to one of the hotkeys, however without model info I cannot tell.

your mouse should have flipped too, if not then someone may be fooling with you..

check if you can click your icons... if you cannot then right click on the desktop and change the wallpaper on your desktop, also re-enable your icons from this menu, you may also need to unhide your start bar

hope this helps

Monitor screen went sideways

Try the ALT key and the Up Arrow.
If that does not work, try CRT ALT UP and DOWN arrows till you can rotate your display.

Hi right hand click in the centre of the screen select graphic properties and once in there make sure that the rotation is on No rotation if not set to and apply close and then the screen should be OK.

Try this hope it works
Thanks J
