Hello; recently bought a Logitech M305 cordless mouse. My notebook system: msi cx620mx; Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium. Mouse works normally without any problems. Exception: after hibernation / sleeping,...

Ths problem occurs because of usb drvier conflict issue with your usb wireless dongle driver. For that go to device manager uninstall all usb drivers then it will automatic install all driver. Then go to control panel->add remove program and features then uninstall your wireleless keyboard and mouse driver then reinstall. Then restart and check. Also try different usb ports of computer for connecting the usb wireless dongle of keyboard. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

MS Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 scroll wheel only scrolls down

There are number of reasons and solutions why your mouse isn't working properly. No.1. Resynchronize your mouse to the Pc. It's best to use the reset button for resynchronization. No. 2. Change the Port (Usb port). Sometimes even the small problem with the port created this problem. No.3. Replace the battery. If you are sure about the battery is Live, you can try with another make eg. Sony to Everydy. No.4. Interfaces Problem. Make sure that no electronic items, metal box, Speaker, etc doesn't obstruct the connection. No.5. Driver Update. Update the driver to the latest version. You must update from the particular website. If you are using Microsoft product, you must update the driver from the Microsoft's website. No.6. Different System. Try out the device on several devices not only one. If you still have difficulty, you can visit this site for more details. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838398 Good luck

Scroll speed goes to fast.

  • Try "uninstalling the "Mouse, next (Rollback Driver), and restart the computer. Reinstall the "mouse device" "update drivers: automatically, or "manually." *Note: "The Manual (option) will reinstall the original drivers. "Did this solution help? Need Mouse Driver for Mac Leopard

Without the drivers the mouse runs great. The only thing you can't do is use the second scroll wheel to scroll left and right. Instead the mouse scrolls in the opposite direction than the first scroll wheel. The side buttons can be configured within OSX and Windows for whatever you might want.

Message saying alps pointing devive has stopped working, can still move mouse pointer but cant use the scroll function

A possible fix for the Alps problem Your Alps pointer problem is probably driver related. To fix it:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Right click on Computer & choose properties
3. Open Device Manager (Admin password may be required)
4. Under Mice & other pointing devices, right click Alps pointing-device & choose Update driver software
5. Choose Search automatically & it will download and install the latest signed driver from the windows repositories & hopefully that will fix that problem.

Scroll wheel function

You can try using the windows driver for a generic 3 button or wheel mouse. That may require that you go to control panel system hardware and then find your mouse then select update driver and pick one of the generic or microsoft drivers that have the same functions. The problem may show up when you reboot and windows tries to reload the original driver.
