My 500-A Ups is making Buzzing sound.

APC 500VA ups meant for 1 Desktop and one montiro it will have battery backup for 10 to 15 minutes for the above.

Normally, You should make the raw power connected to UPS should be always ON.

The power cables of CPU and Monitor is connected with UPS. When not in use, please press the Button available on the UPS.

The UPS Life is normally 2 to 3 Years only. Now you are getting the sound and Red Light will always blink and not allow to use the system.

Better replace the 12 Vols battery to get some more life for the UPS.

And check for any loose connection of the power cables connected with Raw Power and UPS System.

Restore comp.

Hi,

The easiest & safest would be get the biggest.

However, if you want to go "just enough", you have to determine what part of your computer"s "memory" (I am presuming the contents of your hard drive) you would want to store.
1. The entire contents - click on My Computer, right click on Local Disk (C), click on Properties, the numbers opposite "Used space" would be a fair indicator of how much was used and therefore how much would be needed. Safer to get next bigger size; or
2. If just your "Documents and Settings", instead of right click (as above in #1), double click on the Local Disk (C), right click on "Documents and Settings", click on Properties.  The numbers opposite "Size" or "Size on disk" would again be a fair indicator oh how much you would need. Again go for the next bigger size; and
3. #2 will also hold true for any and/or all other folders you would want to store/save.

Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things are or should you need further information.

Good luck and kind regards.

WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 10 WILL LOAD BUT WILL NOT RESPOND WHEN I WANT TO GO TO LIBARY OF STORED MUSIC. TRYED UPDATES, RELOADING, REINSTALLING , NOTHING WORKS , NO ERROR MESSAGES EITHER, PLEASE HELP...

Hi,

Reboot system in safe mode. It will ask to restore to previous restore point. Try to select restore point before you have installed windows media player 10. Reboot the pc and then try to install media player 10. It will be better if you run scandisk to fix file system errors. Or you can use any tools for fixing file system & windows system registery error like System Mechanic, Symantec Windoctor.

Thanks,

Vksr.

K7s5a sound driver

Hi, Code 10 refers to device not starting which can mean either hardware failure, corrupt drivers or wrong driver. The K7S5A uses either an SiS 7012_111 or an CMedia AC97 depends on the audio chipset installed in your motherboard version. Google for the necessary drivers and try which ever will work. Good luck and kind regards.
