Excessive vibration during spin cycle

I have an Asko 20605 washer that frequently vibrates during the final spin and makes the water supply pipes rattle in the basement. It does not do this every time, but most of the time. Sometimes if I stop it, open the door and start it again, it will spin correctly. Any idea what might be causing this?

Pipes in basement make a lot of noise like there is air in pipes. Only happens some of the time. Very loud

I have a kenmore front loader. It also vibrates during the final spin. I wonder if needs to be ballance. Specially, since I did not secure it very well during our last move.

If this is the only problem be thankful ,its capable of a future of problems. I my self would not recommend putting 1 more dollar into this machine.Your next concern is a high dollar repair that may be soon coming ,that is a circuit board problem.

The ECU should be tested. Look for the service manual inside the chassis for troubleshooting procedures.

Clothes washer vibration during spin cycles

the vibration and noise is most likely from the drum bearings wearing out to test the bearings try this out,,,
open the door, hold the top of the drum and lift it up, if it has any free lift in it the bearings are going, now spin the drum by hand and you should here the rumble off the bearings

Chck to see that all (6) suspension springs are still attached. Check the plastic snubber ring below the mechanism and above the base plate for cracks or contamination.

Washer drum shakes excessively during fast spin

y shaped piece that contains the spindle that attatches to the basket and allows it to spin is corroded and cracking. you can't buy just the spindle bracket, you must buy the basket too. you'll be buying the front part of the drum too, if you wait to long.

its a big job the door comes as a kit,you have to losen the front panel that the door sits on thers two bolts on the back of the front panel you get access from inside take off the back panel use 60 cm extension then remove door seal and ring the screws for the door are behind the hinge you will have to move the front panel forward and stick screw driver handel between so you can get access, but the kit does have instuctions.it will take about 1 hour or so.hopethis helps. model 20605 is an asko
