Question about RCA P52926 52" Rear Projection Television

2 Answers

Can anybody help me disable the Guide+ on my 52" RCA TV?

I have cable TV and my 52" cable TV and I cannot get the Guideplus off of the initial screen when it comes on and stays on for about 3 or 4 minutes. I do not use the Guideplus because my cable company has a guide that I use with their remote.

When you first turn your cable tv on go to the customer menu and turn off the G+, you should find it in your set-up section.

The source display is set wrong. You'll need to disable 1080p on the source and/or limit it to the display capabilities of the set.

I have a RCA Home Theatre, gemstar guideplus gold. I think it is a 52" rear projection. I just want to know is it a HD TV?

It does not have an HD or ATSC tuner. But it does have HD resolution inputs - ie HDMI and component video (RGB) so effectively it is HD
