Just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

I had this problem and read through the threads and found your solution to this and it worked like a charm and just HAD to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I posted it as a solution within my own thread that I had attached to someone else that was having this same problem. Please let me know if I have to do something else to give you the credit that you so much deserve on this. And, again thank you for assisting those of us that need a little help along the way....
Here is what I posted:

Just found this posted by tech17 (THANK YOU SO MUCH!) and it worked!
i posted the solution under premium problems i don't know how that works but what you have to do is get a couple of nails pull the hinge on the door down far enough to insert the nails in the holes and let it rest against the door this will hold the door at the proper angle to engage the hooks inside the hinge slots on the body of the range grasp the door on each side and insert the hinges in each side to engage the hooks then open the door all the way and remove the nails

How do you remove light bulb cover?

Just twist it off. I know that is easier said than done because they can be a pain. But if you turn it hard enough it will come off. I've seen suggestions about putting warm water on it to loosen it, an another said using an oil wrench on it worked like a charm.
Good luck

Top oven/grill. Element has dislodged from the screw connection. Attempted to screww back the element and there seems no thread for the screws to attach to the oven. What are my options?

Hello Michael Clift - I am happy to assist you. First, I will need your model number (and serial number if you have it) to better address the issue at hand. Thank you.

F3 on display keeps on buzzing

hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
well this is the most common code of all the oven codes it is simply telling you that the temperature sensor is either not reading the temperature correctly or it is faulty all together so i would firstlook at the sensor to ensure that the sensor is good you can have it tested with a ohm meter and check it for continuity if found bad replace it which normaly is the case ok
Post me back with the make and model number and i can get yo the part number and price for this ok?
Best regards Mike

Hold the lock button for 3-5 seconds or Find the main circuit breaker for your oven. Turn it off for fifteen minutes, then flip it back on. This should allow the door to open. Another thing sometimes, the dial for self clean will hang up, but this should fix it.goodluck hope this helps

Display light

Found out that I could replace the C3 capacitor with a 100uF 35V (high temperature - 105 C). Spent $1.69 for the capacitor and 1/2 hour taking the unit out, soldering the new capacitor in, and remounting the upper clock unit back on the oven. Works like a charm. No need to buy the whole Clock/Temp unit, waste of money.
