Question about Televison & Video
I have a pretty blue Admiral 12 inch TV here that a customer brought in with the V-Chip enabled. The customer states that a friend set the V-Chip code for TV-14 and set the password as a joke. They can't remember what the password is.
We've called Sharp (the manufacturer of the set even though it's branded Admiral) and their suggestion of Up Channel/Down Channel and Down Volume/ Up Channel didn't do anything.
Any suggestion on how to clear the V-Chip?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

When the message "INPUT SECRET NO." appears, press the Ch UP and Ch DOWN keys ON THE TV SET (Not the remote) until the message disappears. Then press "MENU" two times on the remote to exit. I have a soft copy PDF file for 13L-M100B set. Send me your email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I can send it to you.

SOURCE: Resetting V-Chip pin code
This what worked on my 27 inch model.. 1. Hit the Menu button on the TV. 2. 'INPUT SECRET No.' should appear. 3. Press and hold both VOL (+) and CH DOWN (9) on the TV set simultaneously until the message 'INPUT SECRET No.' disappears. 4. The vchip settings should be disabled now and the Parental controls menu should be presented, 'disable' Status if need be.
