My 4250 Hp has intermittent issues with shadow images on the page. The printer will print out 10 good prints and then have one bad one. I replaced the toner cartridge and transfer roller; the problem persists. Any ideas?

I just do not wish to pay for the services, the problem is not that severe, the printer is not worth that much, if it dies, I just get a new one, but I love this printer, it is my work horse. Thanks any way.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What do I do when my CLX 3160 FN Printing shadow images.

clean the nozzles first. if you are using refilled ink then most probably its time to replace the entire cartridge since refilled ink is filled up on the old cartridge & in due time the nozzle becomes wider with use leading to shadow images being printed.

Alignment is not the issue with my printer... i keep getting a shadow behind my letters and images I print, but not on typed documents... only scanned ones or copied and pasted images into word... so...

The shadows are common from scanned images. You might want to hold the book you are trying to scan in a better angle so that the scanner can read it more clearly. Then your scans won't have that many shadows.

Dell 5110cn Printer Printing Blue Shadows

I did the following and it has stopped printing "shadows". I don't know if it was one solution or the other (or both) that worked.

1.On the face of the printer press the "Menu" button>Admin Menu>Maintrnance>Color Reg Adj>
Auto Correct>Yes
2. "Menu" button>Admin Menu>Maintrnance>Clean Developer>(Pick problem color)>Yes.

Hope it helps
