Question about Canon Fax Machines

My office has a CANON IMAGERUNNER 3570 and all of a sudden all of our incoming faxes are printing off landscape instead of portrait style and our faxes are being cut off and we cant read the bottom. Please Help change is back.

Thanks so much, I messed around with the special functions and fax settings for hours. I am usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out but this was beyond me. Thanks for your help!!

In the cassette change the blue dial back to the correct type, either a4 or A4R (landscape). Sounds like you have to set it back to A4, Blue dial right hand side, front of cassette when you open it.

Or press the paper select button on the copy screen and see what it has been changed to, then change the dial in the cassette.

Suddent my sharp arm 257 prints landscape, in wordperfect only. Other programs print properly in portrait. My HP prints ok in all programs.

Check how your printer is set up in wordperfect, it is a software setting problem not a printer problem. You may have to re-instalall wordperfect but I hope not.

When i send a fax from my Canon L90 the receiver is getting it in landscape mode.

Have the receiver set their paper to portrait. 8 1/2 x 11. Their machine should be able to figure this stuff automatically.

I am trying to receive a fax and am getting a paper to narrow mes

I not really sure on this machine if it has these setting, but most fax do. There is a setting that allows you to automatic choose reduction of a fax if the one sent was larger than 8 1/2 x 11. Good Luck

Because they are being sent landscape to you.

Alternately...Reset the fax machine.

scroll down to shipment set

set....wait 2 mins

( CAUTION machine will reboot to factory defaults and blow out all speed dial numbers) [the LAST resort]
