Qosmio Screen flipped upside down

I must have hit one or more keys by mistake and the screen display is now upside down.
What keys do I hit to get the display right side up again?

Many thanks to DCSE for the quick reply. Unfortunately, Control+Alt and the arrow keys did not work. I searched through the Toshiba manual without any success. I telephoned Toshiba Support, Best Buy where I purchased the computer, The Geek Squad and finally a local Computer Service Shop that I had used for service and repairs. Difficult to get any advice over the telephone, but should I take the computer into the repair shop and pay them a fee, I should have the problem fixed in a few days. Instead, I RESTORED my computer and that solved my problem. Everything is back to normal. Many thanks to DCSE, Best Buy and

Thanks burns-o for the information. I believe that will solve the problem, but unfortunately I cannot find the icon pic for NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 anywhere on my screen. I also looked on two other computers for an icon of their graphics card. No luck. The RESTORE worked fine this time and corrected the flip, but how may I save the graphics icon to the Task Bar for future use?

Where you got to the Graphics card properties, look through the menus and look for "Show ICon on Taskbar" is not you can contact nivida on how to do it beacuse I am not that sure, it should do it on it's own after driver installation

Look at your upside down taskbar, look for the icon logo pic of the company who makes the graphics card. Right click it, choose rotation, and click %100.

I dunno exactly how to, but if you go to the Graphics Cards Properties, look through the menu for "Show icon on taskbar" If you can't find, contact Nvidia and they'll tell you. usually right after a restart after driver installation, it should appear there.

My screen brightness its lees

Then brighten it. You brighten it by Holding Down either FN, CTRL or DEL key + Hit the corresponding key for brightening the display.
For example on my computer I press and hold the FN Function key while I hit the UP Arrow key to brighten the screen.

The brighten/darken keys normally have the icon of a circle with sprockets around it like the sun or it looks like a washer that goes between a screw.

Screen upside down

Holding down CTRL and ALT while pressing the DOWN ARROW flips the screen upside down.
To undo it, and flip it back to normal, hold down CTRL and ALT and press the UP ARROW.

You can also try CTRL-SHIFT and then “r” … this works for some Dell configurations

This problem can also be solve in some PC using the below technique.
In Control Panel>Display>Settings tab>Advanced button, look for settings relating to display or screen position.

Newer video cards have the capability to flip the display 90 and 180 degrees for use with LCD screens that can be rotated.

If the problem still persist, Start you PC with F8 key press, select "Last known good configuration that works"

it will most probably solve the problem.

WHile cleaning my legitech keyboard, I made the desktop appear upside down on the screen. How do I invert?

The keystroke combination to flip the image upside down isCTRL-ALT-downarrow key... to flip the image rightsideup again, pressCTRL-ALT-up arrow

If this does resolve the upside down image.
Check your video card graphics settings. Nvidia has something called NVrotate:
Right click your desktop, select properties. Go the settings tab.Click advanced. There do you have a tab for your graphics card? If you do, After selecting the tab it displays options. NVrotate. That rotates the screen.

Good luck and hope this helps!

Flipped\upside down screen on my compaq

Windows XP: Flipping the screen upside down and back again

Once, at University, someone had flipped the screens of all the public computers (running on Windows XP) of the English Department upside down. The wallpaper, desktop icons, fonts, mouse-cursor and even the start-up screen...everything was displayed or moved upside down. People could not check out their e-mails or surf or do anything.
To reverse the upside down screen mode, press ctrl, alt and the up arrow (arrows console) at the same time; the screen will probably go blank. Turn off the monitor, turn it on again and the display will be normal again. If you possess a sense of humour or are antisocial, press ctrl, alt and the down arrow simultaneously, turn off the monitor, turn it on again and everyone (excluding the culprit) will be desperate --> upside down! Works for Windows XP Home and Prof.
