Toshiba 32A41 Front Cover Replacement

I am considering replacing the front cover due to cosmetic damage and while the part is still available. I have not opened the set as yet.
Is the front cover removable by itself or does it actually act as the frame/chassis for the CRT and other parts as well?

How do I remove the hard disk of Toshiba laptop?

Hard drive replacement on this unit is quite easy. Turn the machine upside down, and with power removed (battery and AC adapter disconnected) remove the two screw holding the HDD cover in place (right side of laptop near the front). Remove the cover and then remove the single screw holding the drive in place. Slide the drive out. Replacement is the opposite of removal.

I am trying to find a replacement part: The rubber cover that protects the housing for the front wheels of the Aspire "Quickie" power chair.

The front rubber cover and bracket for the Aspire front wheel is part #561670 and the list price is $160. It is available from Sunrise Medical at 800-456-8165. I replace these quite often because they wear out. The components underneath tend to be sharp and can cut your foot and ankle. I am afraid that this part is available only from the manufacturer.
It is possible to use a rubber inner tube or large rubber hose to cut and shape a replacement part if you are inclined to save a little money. I don't know how well this would work in practical use. Hope this helps.

One jewel fell out can i get a replacement

The short answer is no.
You might find a specialty shop that would have a replacement but my experience has been that you will need to get a replacement band or case from Fossil . You will end up paying for this because Fossil's warranty doesnt cover cosmetic damage.

Well, i lost the front of my tv moving it. it was destroyed, now i'm looking for a replacement but don't know what it's called. could someone tell me? is it the screen? Panel? I don't have a clue, searched...

if it's the lower front, then you need the speaker grill, if it's the upper front then you need the screen assembly, if it's the middle front, then you need the control assembly, these are very common tv's, you could probably pick one up off craigs list or some websight just like yours but don't work and get the housing parts cheap, new, they might not be available since they are considered cosmetic parts and are discontinued early on in the life of the set.

The backlight on your display is not working, which is why you can dimly see the icons. Power for the backlight comes from a small board called an inverter which is mounted in the bottom edge of the display. It is a common problem for these inverters to fail. There are replacements available from vendors online, and installing the new board is usually a simple job.

In your case, the inverter problem may be due to the hinge trouble you have. The twisting force that damaged the case may also have broken the inverter board or caused its power connection to pull loose. Or the inverter trouble could just be a separate problem. You would need to open the display to check.

There are screws through the front and the front cover snaps in place. Remove the screws and the front cover and you will see the inverter board under the display panel. There are connectors at both ends. One is the power for the inverter and the other is the connection to the backlight. Make sure they are seated and that there is no visible damage to the inverter board.

Replacement hinges may also be available for your computer. Search for them and an inverter by looking for your paticular model.
