open your laptor, plug off bios bettery, then plun in again, that will reset bios password

This model is no longer supported by Toshiba, so you may not get the restore disk from them, but you can get from third party. Please click here and the price is $40 for the restore disc for U200, U205 (windows xp pro). This website is valid site.

Yes, this is replaceable. However, it is not easy to do and requires taking the motherboard out of the laptop and decent soldering skills. If your laptop is under warranty, consult the manufacturer and they may replace it for free. If not, computer repair places can do it for around $100 or so I believe. It is expensive due to the skills and time required.
