Light blue color to the screen

Somehow on my HP T21 the screen has a light blue color where the white was normally there. Is there a solution for this? Is the screen going bad?
Also, if the cover is tipped to another angle, then a shadow effect of light blue with a little of the white appears.

I have the same issue, except on a Dell 5100. Areas that are normally bright white are turquoise, and there are horizontal turquoise lines on tabs and stuff. Also, some areas are flickering like a bad horizontal hold on an old TV.

OK, after diligent searching on the internet, I found several instances where someone suggested that a video cable may have come loose. Before forking out cash for a new screen, I pulled mine apart. Lo and behold, a poorly fitted connection on the back of the LCD - taped into place that way by the technician who built the thing. Why it waited 5 years to fail is beyond me. Anyway, it's back to normal after reseating and taping it back down.

It's possible that the screen is going, it's also possible that the inverter is going. An inverter can cause the same color change problem. It's definitely one of the two.

One more thing. Check the connections from screen to inverter to board.

I painted light gray that now looks lavender on the wall...I am pretty sure it is the lighting in the room (CFL bulbs) as when I take the roller into another room with natural light or fluorescent lighting...

I painted for many years. And now work with photoshop each day.
The selected grey was probably in the blue family instead of yellow family. Most interior colors look better if they come from the warm yellow family, including greys.
There are greys for every color in the spectrum ... from yellow to red to blue. If you pick a grey with bit of red, it will start to look mauve. Orange and it will look brown. Blues inside the grey will turn purple real quick.
Moreover, all colors and finishes are contextual and pick up surrounding colors. Especially satin-or-shiny finishes, because they pick up local colors that change intended hue. For example blue drapes will turn white room bluish. If the house next door is red, and the light comes in window, it will turn white room into pink. Green leaves, and the light from window turn white room green. So when you pick a grey that has bit of blue, the color can change for many reasons beside light bulb. Each room is totally different.
Most folks pick colors by looking at color chip in the store, instead of painting a section of wall inside home. And most folks do not ask the paint store clerk which tints are in that particular color. Sometimes the black tint will turn some bases into a bluish hue.
Go back to paint store and get another grey color from the yellow spectrum.

My tv screen when on turns yellow then after a while it will switch back to normal colors what can be wrong with it....

Televisions covered: all Projection with yellow picture, but not Projection TVs with a yellowish tint surrounding objects in a nearly normal picture.

Yellow = red + green
normal picture = red + blue + green (RGB). See illustration.

Fig. 1 Additive color mixing in an RGB monitor, or RGB Projection TV.

The circuitry powering your blue output, or the blue light engine itself is starting to fail.

Operating Theory:

The lamp module shines a bright light into the optical unit; there are a series of lens and baffles, and at the top of the light engine, a lens puts the picture into a mirror which is reflected onto the screen; All video and color is processed thru the light engine. Blue most commonly fails first, leaving a yellow picture.

Installing fan & light control (27182) - in the box, there are red, white and black wires. On the control, there are red, blue and black. So, black to black; red to red; right?....does blue go to...

Under normal circumstances, NO! Black is normally power in to a box and to a switch. The switch controls the power out to the red line and most likely the blue line. White is always circuit neutral (ground). Your power will most likely come in via black and then go to the lights on either red or blue and to the fan on the other wire, either red or blue, the color you did NOT use for the lights. Some place you should also have a bare or green wire that would act as equipment ground, connecting to the metal of the box.

You can change the backlight on a casio wristwatch by holding the Light button, but only if it has an LED light in the side of the screen such as yours does. There is Light Blue, Red, Pink, Blue, Green LEDs in the side of the screen and you can change between them. There is also an option that flashes between all the LEDs when you press the button.
