Question about HP Intel Pentium Dual Core Desktop Computer

2 Answers

Computer problems I have a HP Pavillion that's almost a year old, with Qwest broadband & Win. Vista home premium. I'm not really computer knowlegeable. I've had various problems with e-mailing photos and can't understand techs on the phone or on- line. For some reason my POP3 quit working. The task manager indicates I have 74 active processes running which I'm told is way too many, and I have no clue how this happened. I can't seem to be able to locate any of my inital acct. info because the passwords don't work. I need professional help and don't know where to go. HELP SOMEONE!

Hi,

You have nothing to worry about as this is normal operations. All the computer is doing is checking drives and reading any disks that maybe in the drive.
If there is no disk in the drive the LED indicator light will still come on but should resume Windows quicker.

Regards.
