Question about Apple iPod nano
Hello, I have an ipod nano, and when connect it to my computer itunes pops up on my screen but doesnt seem to recognise my ipod, therefore it doesnt update! Ive tried everything, reinstalled itunes, reset my ipod, forced my ipod into disk mode, stopped and restarted my ipod service, but nothing. all that it does is say "do not disconnect" please help me!!!
Thankyou so much!
The first thing you can try is unplug the Ipod from the computer. Hold down the center button while pressing down on the menu button. You should see an Apple logo appear on the screen. Your Ipod has been reset. Plug it back into ITunes.
If that doesn't work after plugging it in. You may have to restore the software in your IPod from Itunes. Make sure your songs in your IPod are on your hard drive because this will restore all of the settings back to default and empty out the memory of the IPod as well.
This system restore can be done through ITunes or by selecting the system software option from the IPod menu in the computer if you have it installed.
Option 1 should work.
