Re: Color problem with the samsung 46" PCK520R TV
There are a few possible causes for this
-Picture tube has become weak after long useage
-A fault with the automatic degauss circuit could be causing the color problems.
-The color drive circuits may be out of adjustment.
I don't have instructions for you on how to fix this, I would recommend you either buy premium assistance or contact
another expert with long tv experience to possibly get details
on how to correct this problem.
I would recommend you contact your dealer for repairs if you have warranty. If you don't have warranty it may be cheaper to ask around.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

It sounds that the screen voltage [G2 voltage] is more than normal. Try it by adjusting the screen control pot-meter. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up older posts.
Try adjusting the Screen voltage. Easiest method I know of: remove rear cover, locate the FBT (has a large red wire running from it that attaches to the back of the tube). You will see 2 or 3 adjustment knobs on it the should be labeled if you look close (screen is normally on the bottom). Turn the TV to a black screen (often an empty input works well). Slowly adjust the screen voltage knob (small screwdriver required) Clockwise, until you see some beam trace lines on the screen. Now, begin slowly turning it Counter Clockwise until the lines are gone and the screen just turns black again. Press the menu button and use the on screen menu and the top knob(s) on the FBT to fine tune the focus. Leave the cover off for the moment and see if your color is better. Repeat the adjustment if needed. If this does not help your situation, you may have something else going on... let me know.
the problem, lies on the flyback ,, on the flyback there two adjustment, the screen and focus that was writtten , adjust only the screen slowly untill screen of your tv back to normal.....fading because over saturation of voltage, adjust the screen trimmer counterclocwise....
All the controls should be accesed thru the on screen menu, your remote should have a menu or display button and if you press it on the screen of the tv you should see a list of different options ,I am not familiar with the kind of menu that your set has but I know the color adjustment should be in the same screen that allows you to change the brightness, shapness, tint, color and contrast, the more you use the menu and become familiar with it the easiest it will be to use.Let us know if you need more information.
