Make sure that the graphic card is made for VISTA. If so, make sure that you use only the driver for VISTA, and any other software and driver from any other card is uninstalled.

Whay blue screen apear on my pc

It means your operating software does not work properly. If possible, you can download Norton Utilities from, install it and run it. If is not possible, then you need to remove the hard drive and repair it using another computer. The last way: read the hard drive using another computer, copy all of the important data to your other computer/storage, and later you can restore the software (to the original condition, when you received this computer) or reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system and all of the applications.

  • Update all your "Drivers" and install all "Windows updates" from Windows update and "Scan" your computer for viruses! And I also suggest you to run CMD as "Administrator" and write in CMD without quotes"sfc/scannow" this will fix blue screen error.

My card reader has stoped working how can i get it to read my memory cards agian

First check if other memory cards is working on the system so you can isolate the problem if the card reader slot is faulty or the memory card itself..If other memory card is also not working then we can say that the card reader slot is faulty..There are also 2 scenarios it can be the hardware itself or the driver installed on it..Check the BIOS of the computer is memory card slot is detected..If detected log on to windows and check device manager if card slot is properly installed..Update the driver if there's newer driver for the card slot..You can also try to perform system restore and pray it will work..If those steps don't work..You need to tear down the computer and take out the card slot and try to different known good system..If card slot still doesn't work..better purchase a new one.. Hope this will help..:)

Blue screen - Memmory_Management

You have the blue screen of death unless you have tweaked your PC to stop without restart it is difficult to read the error.

Did you upgrade from a x86 (32bit) ot x64 (64bit) version of Windows XP or Vista?

Windows (5) XP to Windows 7 - wet7xp_x86.exe

Windows (6) Vista to Windows 7 - Windows6.0-KB928635-x86.msu

Did you run the Windows7UpgradeAdvisor first ?

There maybe Memory Issues with your PC using Windows 7 especailly your Video Card Memory , it a good idea to check you motherboard for memory compatibilty some Motherboards wont take High Density Memory with Windows 7, check here at Crucial Scanner

If you post your HTML result of the Windows 7 upgrade checker to this post I maybe be able to help you further.

If all this fails I suggest that you do a complete install of Windows 7 unless you just have the upgrade pack, please check that you are using the correct version for your PC either 32bit or 64bit as shown above.

Hello there. Ok. So i baught this video graphics card( geforce 8400gs) for dual screen purposes. Im running on windows Vista. I installed and loaded cd/dvd as instructed but no go. The video card has...

I encountered this problem, I do not believe it is a BIOS issue.
You should be able to go to My Computer, right click on it, go to device manager, and disable the onboard Graphics Adapter.
That being done your new video card should function without issue. Now for the DUal Screen issue,, Vista has a cute little feature where if it is a "basic" and not a "premium" version of Vista, it does not support multiple monitors.
I went back to XP with a bullet when I figured that out after hours of troubleshooting my video card

I hope this helps!!
