Need to have help in getting a copier repaired. It keeps running but will not allow you to print. The green light shows it needs paper but we but paper in and it still runs and does not print when the print button is pushed. Any help.. Where can we take it to get repaired we live in NW Missouri. ?

Try printing a light stripes test page
(Troubleshooting, print quality problems, troubleshooting print quality page).
If you have loads of missing jets, run a couple of head cleans, if you see
improvement, it is worth running some more, if not, try switching off
overnight and rebooting next day. If it still won't clear, you may have a
If you do not appear to have many missing jets but the colours are all just wrong
it may be that the ink has gone stale. Run a couple of head cleans and you should
see the colours start to improve. If it is getting better, all you can do is keep
running head cleans until you have replenished all the ink in the printhead well.

I need to know something first. If you print a test page, an internal page, a confirmation page, menu page, etc, does the machine give you a green hue ? Have you tried to shut the printer down and allow it to reboot? There is tec color correction on your print driver properties. You can try adjustments with that. But first let me know if the internal prints are ok , then lets go from there.
No, What happens is on that drum unit , under the green front cover there is a series of gears with a small flag on it. That flag makes one rotation when the drum is installed and actuates the new drum switch. What has happened is that flag has dropped while in the box and never reset the switch. You can pop that green cover off and reset that flag to the up/right position, approx the 2 o clock position,, Or you can exchange the cartridge. That is very very common on that cartridge for it to drop in shipping.
This should resolve your issue. If not it would most likely need a heat rod. But there ia probably a 99 percent chance this will cure it. Let me know please.
Performing a Fault Reset 14 will reset your copier and will help to clear error codes.
Turn the power off.
Locate the Clear Button, which is grey in color, in the upper right corner above the green Start Button.
Locate the Auto Button the lower left corner of the Control Panel.
Turn the power back on.
Press the buttons in the following sequence, releasing each button after each time you press it: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto]. Every light on the Control Panel should go out, and the error code should clear.
If the error code has not cleared, wait a few seconds then repeat Steps 1 through 5.
Program the copier as if you were going to make 14 copies.
Press the green [Start] button to store the reset code. The copier will return to the ready position.
Wait a minute. I just answered this question to your name for an M20.. On an XC1020, that is different. If that is moaning I strongly suspect the toner cartridge if it just sits there and chugs without faulting out. Could be the drum . If it were the motor on that machien it would fault out. Now it depends on the model.
If it is an XC1020, I very strongly suspect the toner cartridge.

The metering blades in those cartridges go bad and do not allow the ink to get to the page. Look at the front of the toner cartridge, is should be a solid consistent black all the way across, if its streaky, not consistent all the way across replace the toner. The other problem could be a dirty laser. If replacing the toner doesnt work let me know, I will tell you how to remove and clean the laser.
is it a printer/copier? yes....do both prints and copies off the glass come out black? yes...probably a problem in the drum/ CRU area No- prints OK but copies black lift the lid and watch the exposure lamp...does it light up? does it move? Both of these scenarios would usually bring up a fault code, so I would still be inclined towards the drum unit.Pull the unit out and make sure no paper has sneaked up between the drum and the exposure slot, or even into the drum unit. another cause could be a broken corotron wire (very thin wire close to the drum usually behind a grid (charge grid) If it is a customer replacement drum unit (CRU) the charge grid will be built into the unit and will require the whole thing replacing.......
