Do the 5 R's:

These are for Nano, but they apply to all iPods:

Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore

Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If

one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems.

â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below.

â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes.

â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates

installed.

â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web.

â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page whatever.

I have a black 8gb ipod nano and when I sync previous songs

this is what you will do, when you sync it again stop the automatic sync the click on your player on the itunes window to see its details, you will see 3 or 4 checkboxes and check manually add music or songs and ucncheck if there is any, the box that says automatically sync music, then click sync, it will start syncing again the disconnect. add songs only to the folder where itunes have got the songs so that next time you sync the ipod the songs previously added wont be erased.

Ipod nano wont sync anymore

Okay, I solved my own problem, but if you end up having the same issue, here's what my brainiac mind came up with... I shut the whole GD thing down. I unplugged the nano, closed all the **** I had open on my computer, and then restarted it, then plugged the nano in and waited for it to eventually open i-tunes, it did... then it WORKED!!! yay ME! I hope this works for you... sometimes it is just the most obvious solution, huh?
