There is no way to restore the memory that was erased as there is no temporary back in the set.
You will need to reset the memory once and take care of any accidental erasing next time.

Panasonic cq vd7001u

cost me $40 bucks for this problem, watched the authorized servie guy from panasonic fix it, all you do is turn the unit it so the code screen comes up and then press and hold the toggle button in the bottom right side of the unit for 10-15 seconds, it will reset the unit for you, just keep holding it down and it will work
