ICS Convergence I just changed the both convergence ICS (STK392-110) but the picture is worse then it was before. All pictures are showing as double or triple. Looking at convergence the blue green and red are all seperated and can not be set.

That sounds like the classic convergence failure. Replaceing the two ICs and 12 resistors should solve the problem. The DPTV305 - DPTV345 convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com is the correct kit for your model which includes both ICs the 12 resistors and the CD with repair instructions.

When convergence output ICs got failed, tv shows double image or 3D like picture. Replace convergence output ICs in tv to fix the issue. Local tv repair shop will replace it for you.

It sounds that TV got convergence out IC failure, please replace convergence out ICs (two in this TV) for correct picture.

Hello Tim this is a very common problem with the projection tv set, the problem is coming from the convergence board with faulty ICs that have to replaced in order for your tv set picture to work properly,they do sell convergence repair kits for your tv set but i would not recommend this the reason being is that if you make a mistake while changing out a component your whole tv set is gone not going to work anymore so for this i would recommend for you to call a near by tv repair shop and have a tech come out and change this ICs for you, after you change this ICs from the convergence board your tv set should go back to working normal on the link below you can check out how a convergence board looks like thank you hope this helps.

Sounds like convergence ICs. Can you move the convergence adjustments in all four directions with the blue and red? If not its the convergence amp ICs both will need to be replaced.
