Okay so I was on my laptop when all of a sudden all the keys started to get mixed up.....a switcheroo kind of deal. Like pressing "E" will some up with "5"......
Earlier on, the bottom started to come off and im wondering if this has anything to do with it? Do I need a new keyboard?

Yes.. Time for a new one....
Ebay has them for all makes and models, type in your laptop make/model and search for keyboards... they are pretty reasonably priced and easy to install...
