Ur tv now power on only have picture few mins, than dead, have sound only?Yes,than the 1 or 2 the long board call the LCD inverter boards are dead. The LCD inverter long boards help the LCD screen to have a backlight to produced a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards for the replacement.
The picture board on your monitor is faulty or bad, since
it goes
black after few minutes, it means the
picture
board of your monitor has developed fault.
The best thing for you
to
do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity
to help with the replacement of the picture board or any service center
because the fault is not something you can fix yourself. in order not to
complicate issues.
This is because full pixels of your TV is not getting invoked at the beginning .If you are able to view the picture as normal after 1 or 2 minutes, its fine.Else you need to call to service center and get this problem fixed.
This should be a quick fix. Try resoldering the vertical IC. This is a small flat IC attached to a heat sink with about 11 pins. It should be marked LA7837 or something similar. That should resolve the problem.
This is a simple and common problem. The solder joints on the vertical output IC have cracked loose. I actually did a housecall on the exact same set with the exact same symptoms this morning! A good tech will resolder the pins of the vertical output IC and all other major solder joints on the main board and the set will play fine.
