I contacted Dorel about the seat straps (too tight on the 2007 model) and they asked me to contact my retailer who could request them. The retailer has just received the XL unit and straps and they are now in the post to me AT NO COST!

The Quinny Buzz 2007-2010 model requires two seat fabrics. One is thicker, more padded, for a newborn/smaller child and the other is a more canvas type fabric which allows more space for an older child (up to 15kg). You should have received both fabrics when you purchased the Buzz. If you need to buy a 2nd stage (also known as the XL) seat fabric you can do so via your local Quinny retailer or direct with the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30. RRP is 40GBP for the seat fabric and if ordered direct there will also be 3.99GBP p&p charge. You slide out the thicker fabric from the sub seat (seat frame) and slide in the 2nd stage seat fabric.
Hi it is tricky but they are designed to be taken off.
Undo velcro at foot part.
take the **** part out.
the seat is atatched with very hard seams so you need to start sliding it out once it is half way do the same to the top part only it goes across the frame once that is done, you can the remove it all the way up. you can then wash it or put the xl seat cover on. if you don't have 1 you can buy them off ebay, or if you bought your quinny in 2007 contact Dorel uk they will send a new xl seat cover for free also harness extension straps.
If it's the new model then you need to follow this in reverse order for Cleaning the Quinny Buzz seats (comfort cushion and XL seat) 1. Open safety harness
2. Unfasten the shoulder belt snap and hook and remove the belt pad. 3. Loosen all snaps on the bottom of the seat
4. Loosen the Velcro straps on the bottom of the seat. Remove the belt buckle through the opening of the seat 5. Slide the cord of the seats out of the edges of the Quinny Buzz seat. Start with the foot section and work towards the head section
6. Pull the lap belt of the Quinny Buzz seat through the holes of the seats and remove the loops from the shoulder belts from the openings of the seat
We have the same model and have upgraded ours with new front wheels (all quinny buzz models are universal inc buzz 4) new back tyres. As for the seat youll need a 2009 seat frame but these are been sold as complete packages for next to nothing on ebay. I got a new seat from ebay for £30 plus 10 p&p.
I had this problem and phoned Dorell to complain. Apparently the new models have a 2nd stage seat that you use from 18 months. I have a 2007 model so I did not get this. Dorell the makers of the Quinny said that the company that I bought my Quinny from can order one from Dorell. So I went into Mothercare. It was a very long drawn out experience but my XL Seat Fabric arrived yesterday after 3 months. Also if you ask Dorell ( you can get the number from the Quinny website- should be a London number) they will send you some strap extenders for free. Hope this helps.
