Sorround speakers not working though connected correctly

Without knowing exactly what your problem is, perhaps you are not playing sound that was recorded in at least 5.1 format. A DVD or BluRay will indicate the format on the cover. The data is decoded and split into (for example) six discreet audio channels. Left front, Centre front, Right front, Surround Left, Surround Right and LFE (Low frequency effects) If you are playing a standard stereo audio disc, then the sound will only be heard from the front L&R speakers, which are expected to be full range speakers. You can, however choose an audio configuration that also provides a signal for the SUB (LFE) and even a pseudo surround. If you want more info I'm happy to help. Just tell me exactly what sound source you are playing and we can work it out.
Cheers for now, Don.

Why has 'protect'come on my cd display.but still

That means one of your speakers are shorted out or blown. Even though they may play, they can still be blown. Have your speakers checked out. Or the wiring checked out from the radio to the speakers.

My Aiwa Colour TV, model No. TV-A2019, has developed audio problems. 1. The audio output from the speaker is high even when volume is set at level one. Audio output is constant for volume level 1 to...

You just come aroung the sound decoder section of your tv. Decoder problems may cause the fult you pointed out. Since all the controls are electronically controlled, and all are through sound decoder, which converts sound to stereo the problem must be there. Since sound comes from two channels are ok, there is no problem around sound output. Check for some soldering loose contact, wire socket loose cotanct also.

Purchased a computer with an upgrade video card (Radeon 4350 HD). The sound is not working even though the device manager indicates all audio is working properly.

Right click on the speaker icon at the bottom right of the Windows Toolbar, select Playback Devices. You will probably see several Audio options. Right click on each individual option and select test. Once you find the correct one that plays through your speakers, right click on it again and select "set as default". Most computers these days have several methods of connecting speakers.

I DO NOT HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IS THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT AND HOW TO CONNECT IT.PLEASE,IF YOU CAN HELP ME AND GIVE ME A DESSCRIPTION OF HOW TO USE IT AND CONNECT IT,I'LL APPRECIATE THIS.. THANK YOU

this unit will play your television sound through a set of 5 different speakers enabling you to have 5 seperate sounds from 5 seperate speakers simultaneously, giving you the sensation that you are in the middle of what you are watching. you will need a set of 5 surround sound speakers and a sub woofer (speaker that plays low frequency sounds so the speakers dont have to) the video and audio come into the phillips receiver and then the video will be sent to the television and the sound to the speakers.

Usually send the video signal from your cable box to the video 1 (video in) port on the phillips receiver audio signal from the cable box to the audio in on the receiver under video 1 --video cable will go in a yellow port. audio will be a fiber optic audio cable you can buy at any electronics store and go into the audio in port for Video 1. then connect a cable to the video out port for Video 1 and into the back of your television on any of the video in ports.

Windows 7 Audio Quadraphonic Not functioning well

Sounds like you are getting quad sound in the test process that checks them, yet when in windows media player or winamp (or whatever) your rear speakers aren't producing sound: Try setting your sound drivers to do something like "speaker fill" then you are set. I'm under the belief that stereo sounds aren't being matrixed into all 4 speakers.

Sound

Windows can only play sound through one device at a time unless you have multiple audio devices, (i.e. USB headphones and onboard soundcard)

Even when you have multiple audio devices, very, very few programs have the ability or need to play the same audio through 2 different devices at the same time.

you can for example though, play winamp through your speakers while playing a vido game in your USB headset. Basically it is possibly to have different audio going the different devices at the same time but it is generally not possible to have the same audio going through different devices at the same time.
