Canon PIXMA iP3000 - Cyan head is banding. Deep clean in maintenance dialogue of no use, new color tank and printing whole sheets of cyan also does not help.

We have uneven printouts of solid colors on pvc type material, especially blues and reds. Have clened and the media feed is OK. The vinyl banners seem to work better on the HP 9000s.

Z6100 banding verticle in black

When you banding vertical do you mean Across paper feed direction OR With paper feed direction?
If its across the feed direction the chances are thje issue remains with the individual printhead, Print out a quality maintenance print to find which Printhead is not working as well as wanted, then replace ( or clean using the plotters control panel under image maintenance.
Errors along the feed direction can be down to Software/ Main Pca /

XC820. All copies have a 3/8" wide dark band

There are a few different issues that it could be, the feed rollers could be dirty, as well as the belts into the fuser. Be really careful when opening copiers. Toner is really small particles of plastic that melt with low heat. Use a Hepa filter vacuum cleaner so you don't create a large mess. I suggest rubber gloves, q-tips and put down drop cloths or newspapers to protect the area around the copier. be really careful, most of the belts are mylar and are easy to break. Remember that toner is heat sensitive, brushing can cause it to melt. just try vacuuming first. if you get any on your hands, use cold water and mild soap.
