I cannot seem to get this problem fixed. Dishwasher stops mid-washing cycle and clean light blinks 7 times. It then needs to be reset. My repairman has replaced the control panel and door latch. This has not helped. We have already spent $250 and still do not have a working dishwasher. Any ideas on what will fix this problem? error code reads: thrmistor problem or inlet water temperature too high
Remove the front door panel and look for a broken wire. Usually the broken wire is about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the door. The wire tends to get stuck into the insulation causing the break. Repair the wire connection and then cover the affected wire harness with a plastic cover to separate the harness from the black insulation. If there is no broken wire, then the thermistor needs to be replaced. That will require the entire unit removed to access from the bottom of the dishwasher. Thermistor failures are very, very rare.
