My laptop turns itself of after 8 min...
My laptop turns itself of after 8 minutes - every time i turn my laptop on it lasts for about 8 minutes then turns itself off automatically how do i stop this?
I am trying to find drivers for my laptop its a lavie NEC company, Model PC-LL5503D1Y. I lost my cd for the drivers and im finding all sorts of problems including crashing, not able to use my web cam or any usb port due to lack of drivers please help me.....

check whether the hiberbnate facility is on or off as it is turning off after 8 min or so.
this can also happen due to overheating of the processor , it can turn off itself automatically
try to increase the ram on the system
