Tv does not come on and the power light flashes 6 times

I'm not entirely sure what that means, but this website says: 6 times, Diagnosis: LOW B OCP/OVP (Overcurrent/over voltage). Possible causes: +5 line is overloaded. (A, B boards), +5 line is shorted. (A, B boards). Symptoms of the problem: No picture.
It sounds like it will need warranty work. You can always try unplugging it and waiting 5 minutes and plugging it back in.
Please don't rank me low, I'm not an expert here, just trying to be as helpful as I can.

Will only turn on for about 3 second with no picture and then turns off. Standby light blinks 6 times

For the KV30HS420, 6 blinks, pause, 6 blinks, etc. means "LOW +B OCP/OVP (overcurrent/overvoltage)" and the probable cause locations listed are as follows:

1. +5 line is overloaded (A, B, M boards)
2. +5 line is shorted (A, B, M boards)
3. IC504 is faulty (A board)

hope this helps John

replace the two mcz3001 ic's on the d or dz board, this is a common problem they have used this circuit for years, so the exact board number may be diffrent, but it will be located on the board with the flyback.
