It is the problem with ur battery.if u have warranty, just go to the company and ask for a replacement. here is one advice,if u r using the laptop for long hours, just take off the battery out from the laptop and run it on ac supply, because a battery can last for 1500-1600 cycles of charging. After that u have to buy a new one.So, make sure u are using ur battery only when u r doing some important projects only.that is why , most companies don't give warranty on ur laptop battery.

I think its already a problem with the Motherboard, Processor, Video Card or Memory. Blinking lights upon plugging the machine means there is a failed Hardware. I have known those problem because I've been support for HP way back and those are the problem for the CQ61 model. If happens your machine is still in warranty better call HP and have it service.

Dell inspiron 6000 dead when connect power adeptor to laptop the led light on psu goes off is this mother board fault or psu.

If the led on the power supply turns off after connecting it to your laptop, the problem most likely lies with the power supply especially if the machine will run on battery power. This can be tested by

1. Turn the laptop off.

2. Remove the battery and power supply plug.

3. Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds to reset the laptop.

4. Replace the power supply plug into the laptop without replacing the battery.

5. If the computer will not start and there are no lights turning on on the laptop the power supply is bad.

6. Replace the battery and attempt to start the machine both with and without the power supply plugged in.

I have an Acer 6920 and just yesterday I went to go turn it on with the power supply plugged in and connected to the outlet and the light near the power button flashed orange and my laptop wont turn on....

Sounds like a malfunction in your power supply. I would suggest contacting Acer support and informing yourself about the warranty on your device.

My asus eee pc 1005he is suddenly shut off and it never boot up again even i pull-off the battery and put directly the power supply on it. And also even the led indicator for wifi, battery, power and HDD...

Does it beep at you? Sounds like your PSU is pooped to be honest (unless you get beeps), I would take it to a repair shop and ask for a new power supply unit. Shouldn't set you back too much, don't get ripped off!

Laptop powers up but will not boot. Replaced hard drive and still have the same problem.

since you already replaced the hard drive and the problem still persist, there are only two things that you need to consider, either replace the power supply if your laptop has no lights when you turn on the pc or replace the motherboard since the circuitry of your laptop is off.One last troubleshooting is to turn off the laptop, remove the cables and battery and press n hold the power button for 8 secs. Then reinsert the cables and battery on the laptop and turn it on. If symptom persists, call ACER and have your computer repaired immediately..

Laptop wont charge

Remove the battery and try again. If it solved the problem the battery is shorted and must be replaced. Look at the plug in the back of the laptop for the power. Is it lose? if it is lose you have a short from it touching contactd together and it must be replaced. If neither of these work try using a loner power supply to see if it is that. The D600 has lots of Power problems on of witch is the Motherboard itself. Hope this helps you out.

Power light for battery charger comes on but goes

from your diagnostic, seems that maybe the ac adapter , thepower supply is the one that is wrong.

if you removed the battery and still having that problem, then you already had taken the battery out of the problem.

get a new power supply, or borrow one to test it.

D505 not charging battery, was working when plugged in - now won't even come on even when plugged in. I have replaced the battery and also the power supply - help.

1. Try using only the power supply.

2. If it won't turn on, unplug power supply then use just the battery.

3. If these two steps doesn't work since you've already replace the battery and the power supply.
You'll need to replace motherboard.

Problem with the power supply or battery

This is a simple issue hopefully.

The battery is no longer able to charge.Buy a new one on ($50-$75)

It could be also that the motherboard cannot charge it (less likely)
