Press the power up button, ok. Press the DIST button once, it shows the laser spot...OK. Press a second time the DIST button and the unit is powering off! same thing all over again...it will not take a distance, otherwise it looks ok

I've heard replacing the batteries, clean the laser head off with a glasses cloth, mine sometimes does this when it's too hot. We use it for work and it sits in the car which isn't great. It only works perfectly at room temperature. If it's too cold it doesn't work either.

How to reset the bizhub 20 printer fuser counter ?

Press the [Menu], [Start] ,and [up arrow ] button four times quickly in this order to make the machine enter the maintenance mode.
The machine beeps for approx. one second and displays " " on the
LCD, indicating that it is placed in the initial stage of the maintenance mode, a mode in which
the machine is ready to accept entry from the buttons.





Press the [8] and [8] keys in this order in the initial stage of the maintenance mode.

I replace my machine for fuser flim unfortunately the screen shows 'E000000' How do I correct this error code?

  1. Try first to clear the error
    clearing the error may not fix the fault
    Press the *with a circle around it then press 2 and 8 at the same time then press *again /press copier touch button/function/clear/error/ok button then switch off m/c on hope it works

    also:
    Additional Functions: Click the Additional Functions button once. Do not hold down.
  2. Two and Eight Buttons: Click the 2 and 8 buttons at the same time once.
  3. Additional Functions Revisited: Click the Additional Functions button once again. Do not hold down.
  4. Copier Button: The System Management screen will open. Click the Copier button on the screen.
  5. Function Button: Click the Function button at the top of the screen.
  6. Clear Button: Click the Clear button on the screen.
  7. ERR Button: Click the ERR button to highlight it.
  8. OK Button: Click the OK button at the bottom of the screen.
  9. Power Off/Power On: Power the unit off and back on using the switch on the side of the unit. The error will be cleared.
  10. Restart eCopy:Once the unit is back up, restart the eCopy machine.

I have brother DCP 7055 it shows print unable 71 error pls suggest

This is due to Polygon Motor Error in the Laser Unit.
Pls try one of these:
1. Input the correction value of the laser unit correctly.
2. Check the harness connection of the laser unit. Try re-connect them.
3. Replace main PCB Assembly.
4. Replace the laser unit.

Error code 0xc18a0201

Hi.

The code means Ink System Failure. First disconnect power cord to reset the printer and test using different cartridges.

If that does not work try the procedure below:

"Press and hold the "left arrow" key.

I'm getting an error messege on a hp photosmart C7180 all in one 0xc18a0106. please help me. I've tried un and reinstalling the software. New ink cartriges. Nothing works.

Solution 1:
  • Push "OK", "Cancel", "Black" and "Color" all at once while turning the printer off.
  • Turn it back on.
  • One more time: push "OK", "Cancel", "Black" and "Color" all at once while turning the printer off.
  • Turn it back on.

Solution 2: Resetting the product:
  • Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.
  • Remove the cartridges from the product.
  • Wait for the "Insert Cartridges" message on the control panel.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
  • Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
  • If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
  • Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.

Solution 3:
  • 1. Get the unit into the "Support Menu" by following these steps: Press and hold the "*" key. Press the "#" key and release both keys. Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo". Press and release in sequence the "1", "2" and "3" buttons. Display should say "Support"

7. Install the ink cartridges when prompted.

Message states: the following ink cartridges cannot be used after device intialization, and must be replaced

Hi,

Try the following steps to resolve the issue,
1.) Press & hold the * key
2.) press the # key & release both the keys.
3.) Display should say Enter Special Key Combo - Press & release in sequence 1,2 & 3 buttons.
4.) Press and release the right arrow button (or the right arrow icon on touch screen displays) to look for the System Configuration Menu then press OK.
5.) Press and release the right arrow until the Ink Initialization status is displayed.
6.) Press and release the OK button.
7.) Display should say Ink Initialization status: Clear. Press OK to set it.
8.) Press and release the OK button ONCE. (This is very important; do not press the OK button for a second time).
9.) Press the cancel button three times to leave the support menu.
10.) Unplug the unit from the power supply and wait 10 seconds.
11.) Plug in the unit, Follow the on-screen instructions, the unit will initiate the initialization cycle.
