White balance has a lot to do with image results. You need to set it for your subject shooting conditions

This is an odd problem if you're using a standard lens. I've been told that it's called photo chromatic aberration and it's a fairly common problem with inexpensive big (600-1200mm) telephoto lenses.

If it's happening with a good quality standard lens this suggests that there may be a problem with the autofocus not being quite set when you take the first shot then being fully adjusted by the time you take the second shot.

I'd suggest contacting Nikon support at www.nikon.com to see what they suggest. Be sure to provide them with information about what kind of lens you are using and what the light conditions are.

The red clock indicates that the date and time need to be set.
As for the "poor" quality, there are many possibilities. If the colors are wrong, the most likely culprit is an improper white balance setting. If the pictures are blurry, that could be caused by subject motion, camera motion, improper focus, or a combination of the three. If pictures taken with the flash are too light or too dark, that could be because the subject is outside of the flash's range. Without knowing what you mean by "poor" I can't give you anything more than some ideas.

After I take a picture it takes a very long time for the image to appear. It does not matter what lens I am using. My battery is over two years.

If your memory card is full of pictures or it's a slow card, it will take the camera longer to write to it and display the picture.

Hi there I just bought a Polaroid two instant print camera but the quality of pics is really poor very washed out and even a bit blurry do I need to set it up?

set your pixel ratio to the largest setting, this means less pictures per memory, but higher picture quality. Also if possible adjust your iso to the highest setting, as well as the shutter speed, having both of these settings set to the highest point will require more light for picture taking, however will result in the highest quality image.

DSC T20 poor image problem

If you took the images at 8MP or 5MP settings, then normally you have a high resolution picture, was the picture clear at the cameras LCD monitor? As you said its like low res in your PC, please check the image file size 8MP resolution will be approx. 3Mb size, if its about that figure, then the problem is in the camera, if the file size is about 500K maybe its in the camera settings, PC cant affect resolution, unless you only have VGA card and monitor, hope this will help, thanks

My pictures display poor image quality on the screen or when you print them out.

PhotoPC 800 captures images in 24-bit color (16.7 million colors). Your pictures will not display maximum image quality if your monitor or computer's video controller doesn't support this color depth. You may need to upgrade your system to achieve the best possible image quality. If your pictures look better on the screen than when you print them out, you may need to upgrade your printer. An EPSON Stylus ink jet printer, for example, provides excellent image quality. If you used drag and drop to insert your pictures, they may appear grainy. Try importing them into your documents instead.
