Have you seen the button on the left of your devise. Just hold that down and it ashould turn on. Another problem might be that the lock is on. The way you turn the lock off is you look on the side of the mp3 and if you see orange on one side the lock is on and you cant turn off the devise. On the p2 it says hold on it. just slide the hold button down and the lock will be off. If none of those work then you shold replace your device for a new one cause i have one and it's awesome. You may try connecting the Walkman to different functional USB port on the Computer or different Computers. Press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds then try charging it. If the issue persists then you may try using a different USB cable. If the player doesn't charge even after using a replacement USB cable then service will be required.
use windows media player and right click on the album and do find album info then that song and it should be there. from there on syn all your music files onto ur p2 then you should have good quality album art. : )
battery can fully charged but if contacts of the tray are dirt than no current can pass through. firstly check contacts, switch showing that it is come out, after pushing it in, also check for polirities of batteries.
ATM im having alot of problems with videos on my P2, originally when i first bought it, i am pretty sure it played almost every format, MP4 to flv, but not for sum unknown reason it doesnt, and even the software emodio, (which is ****) wont even recognise these videos and when it does it doesnt even transfer into the emodio library. Really ticking me off. P2=great but there is a few teething problems that you dont get with ipods.
Ok well im 14 and I have a p2 myself. Have you plugged in the cord all the way? Thats what happens to me sometimes. I forget to plug it in all the way and then it wont work. Just try that and let me know. It should work though. But was your p2 recognizing it was connected to your computer?
