Question about Nokia N95 Cellular Phone

Nokia N95 Bluetooth

I can find Bluetooh on my menu but cannot work out how to find the other devices on bluetooth around me. Any suggesstions will be appreciated. Thanks Binny Hi, I have just upgraded (or should I say downgraded) my phone from the N70 to the N95, and even though my phone pairs to the inbuilt hands free car kit, it cannot connect with it. The N70 works fine, but the N95 just won't connect. I'm about to throw the N95 in the bin. I've contacted Nokia, but they insist it's my car kit. Looking at the amount of problems posted on the web others are having, this seems like a load of **** from Nokia. Is there a patch, or something than I can install on my phone to get the thing connecting properly?

I have just spoken with 3 as I had the same problem with my Nokia N95.

The solution is:

Menu
select Tools
select Bluetooth
at top option blue tooth on - select right hand navigation button
it will say (no paired devices) select Options and select new paired device this will then seach for other blue tooth devices.

Good luck everyone

How can i connect bluetooth ce0681 to nokia n95

All these given solutions are not catering your problem unfortunately; because your problem seems to be the following "You are not at all able to find your bluetooth headset from your phone, pairing is a far off thing" right?

So, here is the simple solution that no one has given here and on other sites (I myself was confused, but finally found it out):

1. Turn bluetooth of your Mobile on.
2. Put it into "shown to all" mode.3. Now pick your bluetooth device, and simultaneously click on the multifunction key (The middle one that blinks) and the "+" volume key for around 6 seconds or more; you'll see that blue blinking light will become static (and it means that your bluetooth device is now "Searchable" by your phone).
4. Start "Pair new device search" from your Mobile, and your Phone will find the bluetooth device.5. It will ask you for a passcode, just enter 0000.6. Pair both devices now.7. The static blue light (Which became static when you pressed the middle multifunction key and "+" volume key together for some seconds) will now start blinking again (in a 3 sec interval approximately).
Your handsfree is now connected, do a test call and confirm.
In case you find any volume problem, then know that the default volume after connecting a bluetooth handsfree is at low level, so just increase it using your Phone's volume keys/ controls and it shall be all fine.
Vote up if it helps, it is the genuine solution of this problem though; I tested it several times. :)

PS: I'm writing this while logging off in haste, pardon any spell/ typo mistakes. :P

Nokia N95 Bluetooth

Almost there gizmo1. In fact one has to go through Connect, Bluetooth then you'll see two tabs. The selected tab has the basic bluetooth options (On/Off, Visibility, name etc) and the second tab shows the list of paired devices. Access this by pressing right.

Once in the list of paired devices Press OPTIONS (normally the left softkey) then "New paired devices". You'll then see what's around and you'll be able to initiate the pairing.

If you're simply looking to send an object, you can do this from the file manager or media library. In the media library select your picture or other object then once again through the left softkey (Options) you should see a "Send" option. Select that, the Nokia will then propose how you wish to send. Choose bluetooth. In the file manager it works in the same way.
