Question about Symantec Norton Partition Magic-8.0 (10256717) for PC
Hi, I have a WD 1Tb My Book ext. Hd that is formated FAT32 , One partition. My other disks are formatted NTFS.
I have already 200 GB of files loaded on that HD.
1. Trying to create a new partition on that HD i get error "cant create partition this size.
Do i have to split insted of create a new partition ?
2. if i convert the HD format to NTFS will i loos all my info ??
You don't need to format it. You can also just convert it to NTFS and keep the current data.
There is also no requirement to create more than one partition.
In the command prompt window, type
convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs
You'll find this in Windows Help. Just search for convert ntfs.
