When i open cydia in my iphone 3G. At first it shows loading data then while loading it switch's off & i am back in my homescreen

    did anyone get an answer to you, I have that exact same issue with my 3G. loading Data then back to the home screen, Im not sure when this started as I have not tryed to open Cydia in a while. But my phone has been jail broken for over a year and all the aps are working fine. If you found out how to fix it please e-mail me @ [email protected] or at least point me in the right direction of where to find some help, Thanks

Iphone...cydia...won't turn on/off
You will have to restore in iTunes. Charge your phone and hook it up with itunes open, if itunes doesn't see it then hold homescreen and power together for 6 seconds and release the power but hold homescreen until itunes see's the phone then restore it.sometimes you get lucky and the phone starts when itunes sees it. If not restoring should get you going.

Iphone 3G stuck on emergency call mode..
Try to reinstall a jailbroken version of the iPhone OS.
Do not (ever) use reset to factory if you need the device to be jailbroken to function (e.g. in case you are using an officially unsupported operator/plan)

Cydia won't load
You need a program like iphonebrowser or ssh with winscp.


Go to /private/var/lib/apt/lists
and delete all the files in /root/private/var/lib/apt/lists/ except for the partial subfolder. Do not delete Partial folder. Reboot phone and restart cydia and it should work just fine.
