i have an acer aspire 5100.. hard drive is fine but when booting up wont load/pick up that its there.. thinking its the motherboard.. def not a softwear prob either..
please help..

Wizplease to go to your bios setting and check under boot sequence whether your hard drive is the 1st device. try to reset the bios to its default settings and after resetting it try to check again on the boot sequence to make sure that your hard drive is the first option. if you have external devices connected to the computer remove all of it.
