Going fullscreen i have had this problem for awhile and though it was justthe internet messing up, so i waited and thought it would go away on its own. whenever i watch something on any website and try to switch to full screen view all i get is a black screen. i have to hit esc to exit back to the internet window. i think my friend messed up the settings on my computer cause he changed it up alot when he didnt know what he was doing. what do i do?

Try doing a system restore first
to do that in XP and VISTA
you just have to click on start
click on run
in the run box type in
rstrui.exe
you will get system restore screen
choose a bold date when you are sure your system was working fine
if it doesn't work let me know i'll let you know some other troubleshooting steps

there are many steps we can try and we will not loose any data
    try installing MOZILLA browser from
    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
open the website using new browser
    then try maximizing the screen
let me know if it does the same thing

How do i take full advantage of my screen on internet explorer and aol?

I'm guessing you are trying to change to fullscreen mode, press F11 while in internet explorer and it will enter fullscreen mode. Press F11 again to return to normal.

Hi I recently bought the acer z5600 touchscreen all in one and im have sound issues when playing anyting in fullscreen the sound becomes distorted i have tried updating the drivers but this didnt...

I just looked up the specs for the Acer Z5600. It comes standard with either 1/2 GB or 1GB of RAM (memory). Usually when you switch from standard to fullscreen video and something else messes up, espescially sound or video speed, it's a matter of not having enough memory. The video card does not have it's own memory, so it has to utilize the system's. The video card alone uses up to 244 MB and if you only have 512MB in the first place, that leaves less than half of your memory left for the rest of the system. You can try turning off anything running in the background that you don't need running while watching fullscreen video, or add more RAM. Hope this helps.

No FullScreen

Either update your flash or re-install the video driver for your laptop. Go to google and lookup Acer Support. Then put the model number in and they should provide drivers.

I can not get "fullscreen" on tv via laptop--when i click the "fullscreen " icon in laptop toolbar it freezes tv rather than going full screen

You should search for how to get "overscan" on your laptop model. ... I have a mac mini plugged into an LCD tv and in order to get it fullscreen i had to enable overscan.

Full screen

What games do you play?
In some internet games you can press F11 for full screen.
Though in most games you have to go through their menu's to get full screen.
In windows the default keystroke for fullscreen in Alt, Enter pressed together.
Though that is not a guarantee either.
Generally how to get full-screen is different from game to game in some sort of settings menu.
For instance I play Last Chaos online and it is automatically full-screen.
When I played runescape online I had to select full-screen at the log in screen.
