Try doing a system restore first
to do that in XP and VISTA
you just have to click on start
click on run
in the run box type in
rstrui.exe
you will get system restore screen
choose a bold date when you are sure your system was working fine
if it doesn't work let me know i'll let you know some other troubleshooting steps

there are many steps we can try and we will not loose any data
    try installing MOZILLA browser from
    http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
open the website using new browser
    then try maximizing the screen
let me know if it does the same thing

Probably won't help but it's all I can come up with.

Default zoom is Ctrl + 0 (zero), though I think that would apply to everything not just one program.

Internet Connection Issues - Compaq CQ60.

Hi.

First of all go the modem, wireless router or both and turn them off at the source (plug socket) and wait two minutes, while you are waiting go to the laptop and restart it, go back to the modem/router ad turn them/it back on. See if you can connect to the internet when the laptop fully boots up.

Let me know how you get on.

Good luck!

Why i cannot full screen all internet videos?

Media player can be weird about fullscreen.
Can I suggest VLC... It will play anything. It will do all movies in fullscreen It can boost volume to 300% which is great with crappy laptop speakers.
Download it free from here

No FullScreen

Either update your flash or re-install the video driver for your laptop. Go to google and lookup Acer Support. Then put the model number in and they should provide drivers.

Full screen

What games do you play?
In some internet games you can press F11 for full screen.
Though in most games you have to go through their menu's to get full screen.
In windows the default keystroke for fullscreen in Alt, Enter pressed together.
Though that is not a guarantee either.
Generally how to get full-screen is different from game to game in some sort of settings menu.
For instance I play Last Chaos online and it is automatically full-screen.
When I played runescape online I had to select full-screen at the log in screen.

Thanks for reply..more info.

Actually, if the battery is fully charge you can always try to turn it on. If it comes on, wait until windows comes up.You can see the battery icon in the bottom right system tray. Watch it for awhile. If the battery doesn't deplete very quickly. Then you will be good. If the battery does deplete very rapidly, then wait for the adapter. Battery is toast. Should also test the hard drive out as well..
