I can't speak for all models of the 52, but n my 52B you push the safety forward with the bolt open and it will come right out.

When was my winchester model 12 16ga shotgun serial#787927 manfactured?

Nicknamed, the Perfect Repeater at its introduction, this shotgun se tthe standard for pump action shotguns throughout its fifty one (51) year high rate manufacture and production life. From 1912 until the shotgun was first discontinued by Winchester in 1963, nearly two million Model 12 shotguns were manufactured and produced in various barrel lengths and grades. Initially the M12 was chambered strictly for 20 gauge, however 12 and 16 gauge versions came out in or around 1914, and the 28 gauge version of the Winchester Model 12 came out in 1934. A .410 version was never produced; instead, a stripped down variation of the Model 12, commonly known as the Model 42, was derived directly from scaled drawings of the model 12 and produced instead. The year of manufacture for serial number 787927 is 1939. hope this helps! im pretty sure that this is right. check it out on the web.

  • The model 72 was made from 1938-1959, before serial numbers were required in 1968 from the gun control act.

HI I am looking for information about 308cal Auto-matic Semi and full auto-matic rifles like H&k has one.But I;am looking for a cheaper iprice.I;am looking for one that has a short 12" barrel like...

i would get a permit to carry a pistol, somthing like a .357 magnum or .480 ruger. if you are allready a pistol owner you could look into sumthing like a .460 or .500 smith and wesson. these are all good bear stoppers. somthing fully auto is illeagal unless you have purchased federal permits. good luck

Removing bolt from a winchester model 67

Pull stock off your model 67 win. The trigger stays in the stock . Lift up on the barrel and action while pulling it toward the end of the stock. To separate them. Next open the bolt , then reach under the action grasp the arched piece of spring steel . Pull down gently on the spring steel retainer while pulling back on the bolt. You can also remove the ejector assembly in the same manner pulling down on it. Assemble in reverse order.

I bought a used scope with no manual. On the front of the scope it turns like the back but it has ranges on it do I need to know what range I am shooting for the rifle to be accurite

Take the bolt out of the rifle so you can sight down the barrel to the target. Get the target bullseye in the center of the barrel. Now look through the scope to see where it is. Adjust the windage and elevation screws to get the cross hairs on the bullseye. Look through the barrel several times to make sure the gun did not move off the target during the adjustments. A concrete bench with sandbags is best to use for this.

I have a Winchester 7600 from the late 60's that I have never fired. I have just stored it here at home and never really had a use for it. I do not even know what type of ammo it takes. Can anyone tell me?

I think you will find that you have a Remington 7600 pump action rifle chambered in a Winchester calibre round. There may be something inscribed on the barrel with Winchester on it. The numbers with the word Winchester EG: .308 will denote the calibre. Just like a .38 revolver will have .38S&W on it regardless who manufactures it. The name S&W indicates the original patentee of the round. So your Remington 7600 is chambered for a Winchester patent round. The number with it such as 308 or 243 will tell you what ammo it takes.

I need to remove the forearm on a winchester 94 30/30 lever action rifel and cant get past the front sight. how can i remove?

You shouldn't have to get the band past the front sight to remove the forearmbut you can turn the band upside down and slide it off. Depends on which sight is on your rifle. You may have to tap the front sight out of the dovetail slot
